REFLECTIONS !!!

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there... to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figuring out who you are or who you want to become.

You never know who these people may be but you lock eyes with them, you know that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.

And sometimes things happen to you at the time that may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would never realize your potential, growth, strength, will power or heart.  Everything happens for a reason.  Nothing happens by chance or by means of greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test limits of your soul.  Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.

The people you meet affect your life.  The successes and downfalls that you experience can create whom you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from.  In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones.  If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them because they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart.

If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but also because they are teaching you to love and open your heart and eyes to little things.  Make everyday count.  Appreciate everything that you possibly can, for you may never experience it again.

Talk to people whom you have never talked to before, and actually listen.  Let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high.  Hold your head up because you hve every right to.  Tell yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you.  Create your own life and then go out and live it.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED IN MY LIFE...?

I've learned... that life is like a roll of toilet paper.  The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.

I've learned... that we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.

I've learned... that money doesn't buy class.

I've learned... that it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

I've learned... that under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.

I've learned... that the Lord didn't do it all in one day.  What makes me think I can?

I've learned... that to ignore the facts doesn't change tha facts.

I've learned... that when you plan toget even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.

I've learned... that love, not time, heals all wounds.

I've learned... that the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.

I've learned... that everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.

I've learned... that no on is perfect until you fall in love.

I've learned... that life is tough, but I'm tougher.

I've learned... that opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.

I've learned... that when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

I've learned... that I wish I could have told those I cared about that I love them one more time before I passed away.

I've learned... that one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.

I''ve learned... that a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.

I've learned... that I can't choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it.

I've learned... that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain but all the happiness and growth occurs while your climbing it.

I've learned... that the less time I have to work the more things I get done.

THE VALUE OF TIME

To realize the value of one year, ask a student who failed a grade.

To realize the value of one month, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.

To realize the value of one week, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize the value of one hour, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.

To realize the value of one minute, ask a person who missed the train.

To realize the value of one second, ask a person who just avoided an accident.

"Treasure every moment...!  Yesterday is a history, Today is a gift, Tomorrow is a mystery".

"Remember to put me first"!... I WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN...

Listen to me! I'll tell you when it's time to take the big step.  I know you are still afraid to step over into love, you must first walk through your fear.

You can do it if you take my lead...

You are loving... you move now.  That's good...! That's good.  You are in the process and being prepared to be somebody's favorite person to love.

Patience...this takes time.  Soon you will be ready.

You are beginning to discover genuine intimacy with yourself.  Self-intimacy is good... have patience...you're getting to know you better.  Take it slow and steady...easy now...your doing well.

Remember i am love...

When you are ready to listen I'll speak and you'll know it's me speaking and you'll know it's time...
